This card is a bit special, because you can reload it and it also acts as a loyalty card.

You can use it, but it needs to be unregistered from your Starbucks.com user account.

How To Unregister Your Card

1. Login to your user account on Starbucks.com
2. Click on “My Account” on the navigation bar on top of the page
3. Click on “My Cards” to view the Card Management page
4. Click on “Unregister Card” on the left navigation menu
5. Follow the steps to confirm unregistering your card
